Every engagement is scoped to your specific needs -- whether that is a one-time document edit, ongoing coaching, or dissertation completion support. You receive a clear proposal with timeline and pricing before anything moves forward.

How We Work Together

Discovery Call
We start with a free 30-minute conversation. No obligation. We discuss what you are working on, what you need, and whether EvidenceBridge Editing is the right fit.
Active Collaboration
We work closely together through the engagement with clear communication, regular check-ins, and focused support until your work is where it needs to be.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Are you still trying to figure out how to write for publication -- without anyone showing you the ropes?

Do you feel like there were gaps in your mentoring around academic writing, grant proposals, or navigating your thesis or dissertation?

Are you carrying the weight of your research alongside everything else -- parenting, financial pressure, imposter syndrome, an advisor who doesn't quite get where you're coming from?

Does your writing feel like it doesn't fully capture the quality and depth of your thinking?

If you answered yes to any of these, you are in the right place.

I'm here to close that gap: helping international and non-traditional scholars refine their writing so it is clear, polished, and ready for your committee, your journal, or your funder.

Academic Editing and Coaching for Underestimated and Unsupported Scholars

Grounded in Lived Experience and a Deep Belief in Your Potential

About EvidenceBridge Editing

I built EvidenceBridge Editing on a simple but powerful conviction: rigorous evidence deserves clear, compelling, and confident communication, and the scholars doing that work deserve support that truly sees them.

Who I Support

I work with health scientists, first-generation scholars, international researchers, parenting students, postdocs, and pre-tenure faculty who bring extraordinary resilience and hard-won perspective to their work, even when the systems around them don't make it easy.

Why I Do This Work

I am a tenured associate professor of public health, a health services researcher, and a population health scientist. My research focuses on global health and equity, using mixed methods approaches to center the lived experiences of communities facing multiple dimensions of marginalization. I built EvidenceBridge Editing because I believe scholars who have been historically excluded, underestimated, or unsupported deserve access to high-quality, compassionate, equity-minded support.

This is more than editing. It is mentorship, advocacy, and partnership, grounded in lived experience and a deep belief in your potential.

Copy Editing and Proofreading

Line editing refines your writing at the sentence level, sharpening clarity, improving flow, and ensuring your voice comes through consistently.

Proofreading catches what is easily missed: grammar, punctuation, formatting, and consistency. Copyediting is suitable for all academic and professional documents.

Editing and Coaching Services

Developmental Editing

Developmental editing is for when the big picture needs attention before the details. We look at structure, argument, flow, and framing -- making sure your document says what you mean, in the right order, with the right emphasis.

Developmental editing is suitable for dissertation chapters, grant proposals, manuscripts, and policy papers.

Dissertation and Thesis Completion

For graduate students ready to stop stalling and finish well. We work together on writing accountability, chapter planning, navigating your committee, and building the confidence to defend your work and own it fully.

Why Scholars Choose EvidenceBridge Editing

I have walked every part of the path you are on. As an international student, a first-generation scholar, and a parent navigating academia, I understand the unwritten rules, the invisible barriers, and what it takes to succeed without a roadmap.

I am a tenured associate professor, NIH-funded researcher, and associate editor at two peer-reviewed reproductive health journals. I bring an insider editorial perspective to every engagement -- I know what reviewers and committees are looking for because I am one of them.

I work with scholars who have been historically excluded, underestimated, or unsupported. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in a genuine belief in your potential and your right to succeed on your own terms.

Every engagement is customized to your specific document, your timeline, and where you are in your scholarly journey. There are no cookie-cutter packages here -- just focused, personalized support that meets you where you are.

This is not a one-time service. I work with scholars across multiple projects and stages of their careers because I am invested in your long-term success, not just your next deadline.
